  • al-Zarqawi - KIA - ??? - Updated

Posted by Andy on November 20th, 2005

There is a report that al-Zarqawi may be dead!

At least one Arab television media outlet reported that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of the al-Qaida in Iraq, was killed in Iraq on Sunday afternoon when eight terrorists blew themselves up in the in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

The unconfirmed report claimed that the explosions occurred after coalition forces surrounded the house in which al-Zarqawi was hiding.

    Update

Keep in mind we’ve heard this kind of thing before.
Back in March 2004 he was allegedly dead then too.

One can only hope he now realizes there are not really 72 virgins greeting him right now, BUT we cannot be sure.

    Update

On the way back from St. Cloud, I heard ABC radio’s news reporting that the military has confirmed a building was blown up by 8 suicide bombers, and that they were trying to identify the remains. The person quoted could not confirm that Zarqawi was involved.
