Boat Engine Update, We’re Close Now
Posted by Andy on April 20th, 2006
Yeah, the ice is out, the boat should be in. But I had a knock in it. So I got up early and came in to work on her. Pulled the engine, again, for the fourth time. Me and the guys here tore the pan off, and found the problem. The oil pickup tube was hitting the connector rods. Fixed that.
I’ll throw the pan back on at break. Run and grab a couple parts at lunch. And throw the engine in this afternoon.
With all luck, tomorrow evening may be the maiden voyage.
Anyone want a ride?

Now that you are the MOB’s most eligible bachelor, you should have plenty of takers on that! Congrats.

What lake do you hail on.
I would be up for a spin. I usually go to Uncle Jim’s cabin or on long canoe trips to the BWCA. But I’m definitely up for a new lake.
