Murtha Murtha Murtha, Murtha Murtha Murtha

Oh please keep it up Rep. Murtha. Please continue to go down the road you live by. That road is the one where anyone that questions your judgement, you question their service or lack there of.
According to his logic, only those who fought for the right of free speech, deserve the opportunity to use it. I’m sure that most Marines would rather not know that one of their former brothers is taking advantage of the brotherhood they shared in order top silence political foes.
Keep it up Murtha. Just keep talking. Sooner or later you’ll realize that you’re …. well I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but ask John Kerry what it feels like to embarrass yourself in front of the nation.

You have no clue as to what a marine would not want to know about a fellow marine. Your fat ass and bald head would not make it through one day at Parris Island. You have never been to war, you just pretend.

So KH - tell us….WHEN DID YOU SERVE? What unit, did you see combat or did you serve in peacetime?

LL asks a valid question KH. Because according to Murtha’s logic you shouldn’t be allowed to say anything otherwise.
So either admit the validity of triple_A’s point, or else follow your hero’s advice and stay silent.

I graduated from the air force academy in 1987, went to med school, did my residency in San Antonio texas and worked at the us hospital, Ramstein. Now retired and practicing here. He pretends he knows about war and what the military does. He is a pretender and off on many accounts. I encourage all of you to visit our troops at Walter Reed.

I will ask you what Murtha asked, and you see if you feel offended, because that was his litmus test.
Did you serve in Viet Nam?
Have you served in Iraq?
Because according to Murtha, if you haven’t served in war, you can’t comment on it. That is not correct. We have free speech in this country. You and Murtha are trying to take that away.
I thank you for your service, but I am sorry that you do not understand what it is that you and the others fought for.

Air Force Academy graduate in 1987 - peacetime. Ramstein Air Base - not a war zone and in peace time. OK that clarifies. Now, what makes the opinion of someone who served more “important” than 9for example) someon who wanted to serve but was rejected for whatever reason?
Pure and simple KH you are just as guilty of speaking of things YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT as you accuse Andy of being. That does not do well for your argument.
I am an army wife. My husband served in the Army during the Grenada invasion. Yeah I know, it isn’t Iraq, but it is still technically a war service even though he was not in theatre. However, going by Congressman Murtha’s logic (and yours based on your defense of the congressman) YOU have as much standing to comment on the implimentation of the Iraq War as ANDY DOES!
Now, would you care to abandon the hyperbole and discuss this rationally?
