Malkin’s Vent Covers the Outrage
Posted by Andy on June 22nd, 2006
Wanna see someone on the internet blow the MSM out of the water? Michelle Malkin did a video cast about the savage slaughter of the 2 American troops that you must see. Not just because she airs Mark Kennedy’s great question from the House floor, but because she tells us the story of the soldiers who died. Let;s you here their family and friends, and brothers in arms describe them.
As she puts it we must never forget these soldiers.
But first off, we must not forget who wants to quit fighting the evil we face in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is the left in this coutry that is trying cut and run. It is them that are trying to reframe this debate into lies and deception. They are trying to portray men and women like these 2 poor brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for America as the problem in Iraq.
It is the Left that thinks that the Iraqis do not deserve teh support to gain true freedom and independence. It is the Left that wants you to believe that it was wrong to remove Saddam. That it was wrong to liberate Iraq from him. That is wrong to spend American money to help this country stand on its own and defend itself from the shadow armies of the neighboring coutries.
If we give the left control of our government, it will lead to countless other ones popping up around teh world. They will look just like teh ones in Iran, North Korea, China because the American left is full o gutless whimps who can’t stand teh sight of blood. Had they been in charge duringother times of peril and war in this country teh world would not look the same.
Do you think we’d have liberated Western Europe from Hitler had the squeemish left had control? What about our batte for our own independence? Do you think if teh peace-first crowd had been in charge, that we’d be the United States? Or would we be the Colonies of the Ameircas?
I don’t trust the left for these very reasons. I don;t trust the media, because here you have the perfect story to prove that we have true heroes in Iraq fighting for us and the Iraqis. The media won’t let you know the whole story in Iraq because if you did know it, you’d see we are winning. We are fighting an enemy that if not defeated in Iraq, it will come to our own soil.
It is a global war on terror, and Iraq is just a single battle of it. But it is much more than the war in Iraq. It is a war with the governemnts and terrorist leaders of teh entire region who are trying to keep Iraq from becoming a democratic state. If people have their own freedoms, and don’t need to rely on a Imam (or whatever) to tell them what to do and say, the stranglehold and control that these religous extremists have over them will be gone, and they will loose all of the power they have stollen over the years.
So keep in mind while you are watching the left demand a ‘redeployment’ which is a retreat, remember that doing so would give pure evil the freedom to take over Iraq and teh region. You wanna know the exit plan, fine I’ll tell you mine. We win when they are all dead or lay down their arms and allow freedom to take hold. Until those animals stop killing us and civilians, we must take the fight to them.
HT to the emailer who brought this to my attention.

Michele Malkin is great at standing behind all the soldiers and vets….so long as they don’t say anything she disagrees with. When they do, she is the first to hammer away…personally.
I think nuts like Malkin greatly confuse the fringe left (Sheehan, Michael Moore) with your mainstream liberal. Just like all conservatives are not racist, KKK members who hate gays, most liberals understand that the people who killed those two soldiers are animals and insurgents in general are barbaric.

PoliticalCritic - Can you explain your first sentence a bit more? Are you saying that if one of these men were a rabid leftist that Malkin would not pay tribute?
I am sure that many on the left and even times on the right can find her abrasive but she is nothing if not dedicated to our soldiers.

Yes, we must never forget that these two heroes were abandoned by their brothers-in-arms and it was this tactical wrong-headedness which left them vulnerable to the insurgent’s attack. Where’s the outrage there?
Rather than covering it up with a lot of patriotic hogwash, I think we owe it to the parents to give them the facts.

Michelle Malkin was on the money, so was Mark Kennedy.
Where is the Outrage? There is certainly enough of it when it comes to trying and convicting our soldiers before a trial, enough of it to vent about Guantanemo, But butcher our soldiers, and mums the word. We wouldn’t want the world to think we CARE about our troops, my goodness, next they would think we bought into patriotism, flag waving, and actually feel good about what our country does and represents. Geez, that might portray us as being Proud, possibly religious, and….come on….the world knows…. only the common folk…unread, academically challenged lesser citizens feel that way.
I thank God everyday, I am not part of those “enlightened” ones. The media never prints anything positive about our troops, because it doesn’t fit there slant. What they don’t say, or cut, or add too, tells the true story. It is akin to what used to be known as “Yellow Journalism”.
God Bless our troops and bring them home safe.
A Proud Army Mom
” If you don’t stand BEHIND our troops, FEEL FREE, to stand in FRONT of them.”
They defend us Volunteerily, with Courage and Pride, unrivaled. They serve our country and are sworn to uphold our Constitution, no matter what political party is in power. We cannot as a country, operate without them, no matter how idealistic the thought might be.
