“Seifert Fails” To Wiggle Out Of Bad Green Vote
Thursday, March 18th, 2010Had to use that from the Polinaut headline
Seifert fails to turn back renewable energy standards
Minnesota House panel today rejected a bill to repeal the state’s renewable energy standards.
Rep. Marty Seifert, R-Marshall, said he proposed the repeal because he’s concerned the requirements on power companies to use more wind and other energy sources is driving up the cost of electricity.
That [renewable mandates will drive up costs argument] would be something that one of Seifert’s supporters (who works in the renewable energy industry) says is not true and Emmer has been lying about. But I digress.
It is nice to see that Seifert finally realizes the error in his former Green ways.
Emmer and Seifert square off tonight at the SD45 forum. Both camps will be holding after parties.

Seifert — Jake’s City Grille 3005 Harbor Lane North
I’m going to try to make it there, but it may not pan out. The Andover Huskies’ Pee Wee A hockey team has their first game for the state tourney tomorrow. So there is much to do for that. Plus my mom who is chair of the CD4 GOP has a candidate forum tonight in St. Paul. So I really need 3 or 4 of myself to get everything accomplished tonight. Maybe that is in the Health Care takeover bill.
