Information That Would Have Been Useful Before Iowa
Do those Iowa Tea Partiers wish they knew this before Caucusing for Rick Santorum?
I get the blind fury against Romney folks, but you need to see the big picture. The enemy of my enemy is not always your friend. He doesn’t like the Tea Party or libertarian views. That means he’s a big government apologist. Earmark away. Buy your own reelection with taxpayer dollars.
I myself consider myself a conservative with out a candidate. None of the above 2012. Its going to take a great VP pick to inspire me to work for Presidential candidate. The only true conservative in the race dropped out yesterday. The remaining men in the race couldn’t hold Bachmann’s credentials as a trustworthy conservative on the issues.
I implore my fellow conservatives to actually look into candidates. I’ve seen some people who I thought had their head on straight politically prove me wrong by jumping to the next flavor of the week in the race. Santorum was dead last for a reason. His record is unworthy of consideration to undo the mess created by Democrats and Republicans who think taxpayer dollars were invented to get politicians reelected.
Plus there’s the public perception of Rick Santorum.
This is audio of Mark Rosen on the Common Man show of KFAN. Rosen is a sports reporter, but he’s been a stalwart in Minnesota media for decades and isn’t a knuckle dragger and does follow politics. Both Rosen and Common are at least paying attention. I’ve asked a few Republicans and activists and they happen to agree with the Rosen comment. As do I. This stereotype is damaging. Is this the kind of campaign we want to fight in 2012 against the socialist in chief?
This is link to a clip of the show. It should open up in a new browser. Hopefully this is legal. I downloaded it off iTunes and snipped the clip out I wanted. (we’ll youtube it to share if lawyer types give me the thumbs up.

I’d prefer to keep the 2012 debate on fiscal issues, not on whether women belong in the kitchen and barefoot. More importantly, my key is I don’t want to have to waste one single moment explaining how not all Republicans are Santorum-esque when it comes to women and kitchens.

I just hope you aren’t the kind of conservative that thinks 4 more years of Obama will sure teach those Republicans a lesson. Republicans never learn and, if they did, wouldn’t be able to do anything with the knowledge, because too many conservatives let the perfect be the enemy of good enough. How about instead of picking a perfect conservative, we let the GOP run a candidate more conservative than Barack Obama?
