Well Here’s Your Problem Mr. President – Are We Citizens or Servants?
Unlike the lemmings in the press who follow the fax to headlines model of reporting, I’m going to explain why I think Obama is doing in 1 year what it took his predecessor 8 to do. That would be as unpopular as the local homeless man. Here’s why Obama is going to get even more unpopular. He doesn’t realize this is America, not the faculty lounge at an Elite college, a European nation, or a Marxist reunion. This is America. Land of the free and home of the brave.
Jan. 27 (Bloomberg) — Barack Obama won the White House in part because he controlled the narrative of the campaign, a story line of change and possibility. As president, even supporters say he hasn’t projected a well-defined message, to his political cost.
No, we got the message President Obama. You want to control our lives. You want to put a cap on that American dream. You want to “fundamentally transform” this nation. You think you are the smartest person ever to walk the Earth. We got the message but the problem is your agenda.
You are trying to rule over Americans. You are trying to change our society and standard of living. That’s the problem.
Obama will continue to go down this road that leads to an America that no longer follows its Constitution and is bankrupt. I know the President doesn’t understand the concept of limited government, especially when it comes to Federal powers. But he will try to install federal laws that will cause him to go down as the most loathed President we’ve ever had. Oh sure, the people who think Marx, Stalin, and Lenin were just misunderstood will build statues of Obama at taxpayer subsidized colleges across the nation, but the rest of us who are proud to be rugged individuals and real American patriots will remember what Obama tried to do.
He is trying to dismantle America and rebuild it in the image of socialist European nannystates.
He thinks he just hasn’t explained how great central planning is, but he fails to understand what it really means to be an American, but more importantly, that the Constitution is supposed to be a firewall between the American citizens and what he and his Congressional buddies are trying to do. So excuse me if I am not willing to just sit back and give him a chance.
I could go on, but what’s the point? He doesn’t like the real America. The press in this nation is in the bag for the radical leftist revolution currently underway. My only hope is that they fail and power is restored to the people. Because when the people have the power, freedom, liberty, and prosperity always prevail in the long run. For some reason it is when Government intervenes, expands, and takes control of things that everything goes poorly.
There are lessons to be learned from the last few years. Of course you won’t hear about them tonight from the media or Obama. Too much Government is a bad thing. Spread the word. We are citizens, not servants. We are free people, not people who need to be ruled over.
I pray that Americans realize what is really happening in time to stop it.
