I Ask Unanimous Consent For A Limited Reading – Despots & Dictators For Christmas

All I want for Christmas is for the United States Senate to come clean and be efficient. Rather then transparently and openly read the god foresaken Health Care takeover bill in its entirety, I would settle for a specific and limited reading on the Senate Floor prior to a vote.

I think they should just read the part that reenforces President Obama’s promise that if we like our Health Care, we can keep it.

That’s it. Just show me the part of the bill that prevent me from losing my current Health Care plan.

Will Senators Klobuchar and Franken do this for me? Hell no. Why? Because it isn’t in the bill.

In fact this bill was designed to take away Health Care plans and punish the citizens they are supposed to represent and be watchdogs for.

In other words, we are servants in their eyes. They don’t view us as citizens, they view us as servants who must be ruled over.

I hope to have breaks over the Holiday weekend between snow plowing and gift opening to throw together an idea I have had rumbling about my head.

A Pledge of Independence. I want to start a petition for people who are upset with this Health Care Bill, Cap & Tax, Bailouts, sweetheart deals, and the flat out arrogance and corruption that is the status quo in Washington today. This petition, or Pledge, will be for people to sign and send in to their current despot in Congress.

A summary: I pledge to work against your reelection based on your decision to work for powerful special interests and a radical agenda that is an affront to my freedom, well being, prosperity, but most importantly the Constitution and the spirit that made America the greatest nation on the land. Your votes and willingness to go along with the status quo central planning is something that make you unfit for office and I will do everything in my power to see to it that you lose your next election.

We nee to send these despots a clear message that this is in fact our country. That our way of life is ours for the determining. Keep your agenda off our liberties.

America is not the greatest nation on the planet because we had great legislation. It is the greatest place on Earth because we had people who were free from Government chains and knew that the sky was the limit.

I will not bow down and let my nation be taken over by a ruling class.

By god the very Congresscriters who are passing bill after bill that will erode our w2ay of life for generations are doing so with the idea that they will never have to live under the laws that they passed.

I aim to see that they will have to live under the oppression they voted for.
