Words To Live By
"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

Will Sell My Home For Food – Shameless I Know, But Needed

Hey, if anyone out there knows anyone looking to buy a home, I really need to SELL my old one. The double mortgage payment, not to mention unexpected crap on the new home we got, has zapped my funds and credit cards and I am tapped out and wondering where the next tank of fuel or bag of groceries will come from.

Its a good home, great garage, nice yard, good neighbors, and a good location. And the price is the best I can do. The mortgage companies refuse to help people (or negotiate balances to help sell a home/get notes off their books) that make the payments as I have been and unfortunately I took money out before the housing market was demolished by Washington and destroyed the housing values. Stupid I know, but no one told me that the home would lose all the equity it earned the last 8 years.

If anyone out there could spread the word I would really appreciate it. I can’t keep living a double mortgage kind of life and may have to let it go to foreclosure at this point before it bankrupts me. Something has to give in my budget. And with all the taxes and increased cost of life coming our way thanks to Obama and Pelosi, well, it ain’t going to be getting better, any time soon.

This is the fact of living in America right now. Some of us are really screwed and need to get out before things get worse. Ugh, so depressed.

Please help sell my house. *You* may be my only hope to avoid bankruptcy. But don’t worry, the stimulus worked and economy is recovered. Its just a matter of time before some union worker needs a second home or something, right?   :(

Oh and if anyone knows where to get a statue of St. Joseph, or has one to share, please let me know. I’m willing to try anything at this point.

Please help me sell my old house!

I’m disappointed in you AAA. You should have known better than to buy a house you couldn’t afford. I hope you were just kidding about going into foreclosure. You gave that bank your word and it would be shameful to go back on it. A man is only as good as his word after all…

To get a St. Joseph statue you could buy a small nativity scene (very easy to find this time of year) and use the Joseph from it. That is what we did. We sold our house the week we buried the staue and the new owners wanted an 18 day close and paid more than our asking price to get us our quicker. May be an old wives tale but it worked for us. Good Luck!

You don’t need to buy a whole nativity set to get st. joseph. They sell st. joseph “kits” with instructions on how to use it. Leaflet Missal in St. Paul has them and also a lot of the Irish shops around town. http://www.leafletonline.com/catalog/ProductDetails/ProductDetails.aspx?pid={75e3855b-c7a4-4a25-904d-c53e466f19b4}&pname=St+Joseph+Home+Sale+Kit&Referer=QUICK_SEARCH&Alias=joseph&ptct=BS-SR&CTitle=&
