Words To Live By
"The era of small government is over ... government has to be more proactive, more aggressive." ( Tim Pawlenty 2006)

"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

What A Difference Party Makes

Remember how the Democrats railed Bush over the 7 or so minutes following Andy Card whispering in his ear about the September 11th attacks? Or how the Democrats thumped their chest about how Bush was playing golf during the initial days of the wars? Uparmored Humvees, body armor, etc etc. I also seem to have vague memories of 2004 Democratic Presidential nominee trying to make hay over his superior intelect over Bush in matters of Commander in Chiefness.

Well, now that President Obama is in the Oval Office, there is no rush to make decisions on matters of war. No pressure from Congressional Democrats or liberal pundits. Nope, in fact they are all admiring President Obama for his dragging of his feet.

Since the request for a decision in Afghanistan has been sent up the chain of command, troops have died. A massive terror bombing in Iraq has killed hundreds.

And Obama is more focused on Domestic control then he is on defending the nation.

Well that isn’t entirely true. His squad leaders in Congress are waging a war. they have just finished up their recent war games and have rebranded the same strategy. Oh what a difference a focus group makes.

That’s right folks, rather then stand strong against terrorists, our President and Congressional leadership is waging a different kind of war. A war against the American economy and its citizen’s freedom and liberties.

After some careful poll testing and focus groups, The new Democratic plan to win the war on terror has been finalized. They are going to torpedo our economy, tax the batspit out of our businesses, open up government run “options”, and mandate people comply with massive and oppressive mandates. All the while being forced to buy certain green products and cars, maybe even give up meat for the sake of the world, and don’t forget about being taxed for lights, heat, and getting to work.

If Obama focused half of the energy he is paying to deconstructing theAmerican way of life – to defeating terror, oppression, and rogue nations hellbent on using terror and thuggish behavior as a negotiating tactic and political theology, well,

I guess it wouldn’t be change now would it?

It is a sad day what is happening in America. Obama and his minions are waging an all out assault against Americans. Be they CEOs, businesses, or citizens who happen to earn too much money or think freely as conservatives who believe strongly in the founder’s vision for our country, the Obama administration and his allies in the press are embracing guerilla propaganda tactics against our own citizens.

All the while our troops are twisting in the wind.

I hope this is just a dark period for America, and not the sign of things to come. Where domestic political persecution and forced control over our own citizenry is the norm.

Makes me sick that this is happening.

Obama should listen to former Marine captain Matthew Hoh who stated “I have lost understanding of and confidence in the strategic purposes of the United States’ presence in Afghanistan,” in his resignation letter from the Foreign Service. It’s time to give the Afghans their country back.

    Mike,
Thanks for bringing this letter up. For so called conservatives to support our intervening in what has been a 35 year civil war is baffling. I hope many read and consider what Mr Hoh has to say.

What’s worse, it now appears that the CIA has been paying off Karzai’s drug running brother for almost a decade now. What are we doing over there? The world is less safe because of this occupation.
