Franken Handed Another Win- Deservedly Or Not
KTLK just reported Franken won the MN Supreme Courts vote as well. I had no idea they voted absentee too. More reason for people like me to think nothing matters. Franken clearly stole the election, but unfortunately the people who hold power are clueless.
The sham election may be coming to an end, but the injustice of stealing an election has not. Why bother holding elections if they don’t matter?
I’m moving to Texas.
Elections matter very much! As one of the talk show hosts is famous for writing, “We have to win by enough votes that the election can’t be stolen.” Quite frankly, I would not be surprised if this is exactly what happened. As to the people in power being clueless, they didn’t get to their esteemed positions by not knowing how to “fix” things.
On a personal note, Andy … you’re taking things too seriously. You are a gifted blogger, but you can’t let other peoples’ opinions dictate how you view what you are doing!! Without all of us taking part (to the extent possible) in the process, we are just ceding the field to our foes. You’ve hit the nail directly on the head too many times to not realize that we need to return to principled conservatism … as, if we don’t, we (and by that I do not mean Republicans) are going to keep losing.
Spurringirl, I am not going to follow the rules of taxation. I figure if they don’t matter for electing politicians, that rules don’t matter for stealing from the public. No more taxes from me.
Judd, I am just tired of putting my neck on the line only to have everyone taking swings at me. I’m sick of the people who work behind the scenes trying to dictate everything.
I’m sick of the stupid party spending 7 goll dang months “talking” about all the things that are wrong, and then we go ahead and elect 2 people who’ve…..
I’m just so tired of the bad guys getting ahead Judd. It seems the harder I try, the worse they get. Maybe it is me. Or maybe, I think it is someone else’s turn to go stop the corrupt from ruining this party, because I am tired of being labeled as the town crank and crazy, and simply because I am right.
if the people in this party do not revolt against their leaders who will do and say whatever they have to to get power, then by god we’ll elect Al Franken as a Senator….Oh wait, we did. Good thing we’ve been focused inward the last 7 months. Lord knows having the party base focused on Sutton & Brodkorb has been so much help…..
Things are serious Judd. Deadly serious. Dems now have 60 votes in the Senate thanks to the ineptness of our MNGOP leaders.
At least we now know who had the most votes counted for them. Too bad we will never know who had the most votes actually cast for them.
Texas isn’t bad. Though South Dakota is a bit closer.
