Words To Live By
"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen – Obama’s First Dig

So we saw the new Transformers movie lastnight, and I have to say I loved it. It was a non-stop action packed movie that was well done and entertaining. I’m a sucker for a good over evil movie and this one was all the first movie plus. Action, humor, Obama bashing…..  a match made in heaven.

One of the things about this movie that was quite nice to see, the era of Obama has begun. You see, he took some subtle but very pointed shots in this movie. In the first Transformers movie, George Bush was portrayed as a red socked ding dong addict who didn’t have the respect of those who served him and didn’t play a role in decisions.

Well, in Revenge of the Fallen, Obama plays a role as part of the problem. Yes, the One takes a few Big Screen shots to the reputation, which may be why it has little capability to break through the pedophile media thon. I heard a snippet that it pulled in $200,000,000 since its last Wednesday opening. (That is 4 times the complete foreign and domestic lifetime box office draw for the Academy Award winning Milk.)

Obama plays a role in this movie as the one who doesn’t listen to his commanders in the field but rather bureaucrats. He cuts an operation which ended up putting lives at risk, and wanted to seek a diplomatic solution to the problem of being under attack….. He was even considering handing over the boy …… every option was on the table….. so says the sniveling little bureaucrat who waves around the permission slip from the President directly……..

Anyways, to a guy like me, it was really refreshing to finally see some fair Obama coverage and hollywood treatment for Obama. In the end the good guys in the military decided to do the right thing, which was in conflict with Obama, and they saved the day. It is not over the top Obama bashing, you have to pay attention to realize it, so don’t worry if you’re one to censor out critical Obama imagery.

I’d recommend seeing Revenge of the Fallen, if not for the Obama bashing (oh yeah, I bet the Hollywood libs weren’t counting on this) but also for a great entertaining movie.

My husband and I both caught the dig. We thought it was great and we loved the movie. I’m not a fan of Mr. President, I didn’t vote for him. So far nothing he’s done has changed my opinion about that.
