Words To Live By
"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

A Dedicated “Reader” of RF – MPR Employee – Calls MN Congresswoman “A Whack-job”

Lightbr1.gif

I’ve had a resurgence of a lefty commenter of late who seems to think they must smack talk, insult, or debunk everything I say. It ramped up this week with my post about Congresswoman Bachmann’s Global Warming town halls tomorrow. To sum it up, the person pretty much implied that anyone who believes in God or strict scripture and Church teachings thinks the Earth is 6000 years old and hence they can’t be a skeptic of Al Gore and the Lunacrats who love Cap & Trade BS.

The person wanted to get me to agree that a Minnesota member of Congress was (and I quote) “a whack -job”.

Oh and all of the comments on that post came from 11 AM to 4PM, same IP.

I peeked at the IP address today for one, mpopham, via my wordpress admin. They had found the need to extend their remarks to other posts where I was critical of the One today. So I looked at the IP via the email alert.

Yep, the IP traces back to MPR. So, then one does a little searching on the Googley.

There’s an Amazon profile for an Uncle Mike with an email mpopham@mpr.org

There’s an IMDB comment from a mpopham from St. Paul. MPR is in St. Paul.

And then there’s this dead giveaway. Marrymepamela.

But wait, there is a Michael Popham that works for BAE on LinkedIn….

But the IP address of the comments are from MPR.

Let’s keep digging.

Oh wait, here we go.

Michael Popham’s Experience

  • Member Benefits Supervisor

    Minnesota Public Radio

    (Non-Profit; 201-500 employees; Non-Profit Organization Management industry)

    Currently holds this position

Nonprofit work must be very taxing…….

Nice to know I am such a threat and have such influence a Minnesota non-profit media company employee must take time away from his busy day to read and comment on my lowly blog.

Now do you think that maybe, just maybe, that the bias in the Minnesota media, and default anti-Republican/defend the Democrat stereotype, might just be true since even a member benefits supervisor feels the need to enter the forum of public opinion? And to smear a Congresswoman…….

Have a nice day everyone and remember the person taking your ‘donation’ might think about your …… well, most of us know what the MPR folks think of us conservatives. But now we get to see it for real.
