I chose to run for leadership to ensure that our elected representatives in Eden Prairie have the best grassroots operation behind them and so that we can continue to get conservatives elected in our area, with a prime focus on winning back the 42A seat from Maria Ruud. I in no way ran because of any potential gubernatorial race in 2010...it actually never occured to me until I read your post. Also, I was not at O'Gara's and wouldn't have a clue if anyone else was.
