Words To Live By
"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

So You Voted For Change And All You Got Was 13 Bucks

I hope you can pay your mortgage and fill your gas tank with $13 a month.

Meltdown 101: Highlights of economic stimulus plan

[...]

Q: What are some of the tax breaks in the bill?

A: It includes Obama’s signature “Making Work Pay” tax credit for 95 percent of workers, though negotiators agreed to trim the credit to $400 a year instead of $500 — or $800 for married couples, cut from Obama’s original proposal of $1,000. It would begin showing up in most workers’ paychecks in June as an extra $13 a week in take-home pay, falling to about $8 a week next January.

The lousy socialists in DC couldn’t even make it a permanent $13 a month. Nope, your miniscule tax break has a 6 month sunset. But Obama’s told me I would get between $500 and a $1000 on his campaign website.

Q: How will infrastructure spending affect jobs?

A: The Federal Highway Administration has estimated that every $1 billion the federal government spends on infrastructure projects translates to 35,000 jobs. Collins put the total infrastructure spending — including highways, mass transit, environmental cleanups and broadband facilities — at $150 billion. Do the math and that translates into more than 5 million jobs, based on the highway administration’s assumptions.

Senate leaders have offered their own estimate — they said Wednesday that the total stimulus package will sustain some 3.5 million jobs.

Simply A MAZ ING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is Senator Collins that stupid? We may need to do a wellness check on her and see if she can be left alone without adult supervision. Good lord. These politicians are so desperate to push this thing that they are making schtuff up. It is such a sad state of the American dream that these people are in control of the country.

Desperate Senators are lying and the one’s who will be held responsible are trying to hedge their political losses for the biggest political payback bill in the history of the Universe. RINOs think it will create brand new jobs and the Democrats say it could simply save some from being lost. Honest to goodness. How can they even keep a straight face when they call this a stimulus?

I got news for you. This bill will do absolutely nothing to help my business. It will do nothing for most businesses or Americans for that matter, that is, the ones not politically connected to the Democratic party (IE Unions and liberal voting blocks).

Do you think Obama is starting to feel guilty for lying about everything he said during the campaign?

Any Republican who votes for this will need to pay the price. The House Republicans need to stay united against the Obamulus. If any of them fall prey to the lies and liberals in DC, then the NRCC needs to be cut off. The NRSC is dead to me until they purge Specter, Snowe, and Collins.

I think we may need to have some T-Shirts made up.

We elected Hope and Change

And all we got was this $13
