Bang, Bang, Bang, BOOOOOMMMMM
I had a nice relaxing evening at the range tonight. I went to Bill’s GS in Circle Pines again and was pleasantly surprised by no waiting. I brought the rifle along tonight. I have my Dad’s Remington Model 7400 30-06. It hasn’t been shot since my Dad last took it hunting a decade ago.Â
The sight is a little off, but she’s in perfect working order. I was thrilled to find out that it didn’t kick as badly as I had remembered. You also have to love it when you take a shot and notice people walking over and taking a peek at what you’re shooting. I guess I will have to go back and sight her in.
I also put another 200 rounds through my pistol. I got some shooting tips from Col. Repya via phone. I did much better and am afraid that I could spend way too much time at a range. I will have to find someone to go shoot for free.
Well the guns are all cleaned up and tucked in. I think I should hit the hay too.

Those Rem autos are sweet-shooting rifles. I used to have a M740 in the .280 caliber. Talk about sweet groupings with the 140 grain core-lokts. I’d sight it in at 25 yards & it’d be dead on again at 235 yards.
BTW, you deserve the fun, Andy, especially after how hard you’ve worked this past year.
