Look True North – One Election Down, Countless More To Go
I
n what I would like to call an overwhelming victory for conservative grassroots activists, True North has been a terrific success. Unlike the liberal online political sites and smear merchants for Soros, Entenza, and crew, True North was a volunteer based and and operated website.
We have no daddy warbucks giving us our ’stipends’. We don’t have exclusive partnerships with news outlets. We let our hard work and dedication to our first principles drive us and we were rewarded. We saw a vacancy for conservative news and coverage  and we filled it. Â
We were just a bunch of guys and gals with  an obsession for writing about conservative politics and a desire to prove that there is a need for conservative based news in Minnesota.Â
Thank you to everyone who helped make True North a resounding success and here’s looking to a couple more years of Covering Minnesota the Right Way.Â
I encourage everyone who hasn’t yet, to add www.looktruenorth.com to your bookmarks and stay tuned for the best, most comprehensive online resource for conservative Minnesota politics.Â
I would also encourage any of my readers that want to be apart of True North as an author that we are always looking for new talent. You don’t need your own blog. Â And if any of you know of any other great center right bloggers out there who would be a great addition to TN, please have them get in touch with us.Â
As we spend the next couple weeks updating our election content and transitioning to the 2010 elections, True North will still be the best place to find out what is going on on the right side of the political aisle in Minnesota. Â
Thank you so much to Chief, Lady Logician, Lassie, Mitch, Brian, Matt, Kevin and, and all the other contributors. I could have never imagined this crazy idea I had 2 years ago would blossom into such a great success.

Thank YOU, Andy for the great idea and the legwork you helped put in to get True North started. It’s been hard work with lousy pay, but the best job ever. I am honored and a privileged to be on the TN team, and here’s to many more years of growth and success!
