Under the Freedom of Choice act, Federal funding of abortions is inevitable. FOCA makes abortion not just a right but an entitlement. If he supports this, along with Barack Obama and most of the rest of a Democrat majority, his feelings about Roe v. Wade are pretty irrelevant. The issue is no longer pro-life or pro-choice in the abstract. It's will we all have to participate in the promotion of abortion, with our tax dollars and our health care premiums and will we be greeting our newborns in hospitals with abortions taking place right down the hall.
