First impressions of Barrack Obama’s unprecedented bleg for your vote.

The halo effect the hollywood filmographers are using is clearly a plant. As in the cross/bookshelf ploy of Huckabee’s back during the GOP primary.

This whole thing from Obama is simply to make Americans think he can understand their problems. They are very heart felt stories.

The problem is, all of us have problems. Are we to expect that the Federal government is going to fix all of ours? According to Obama: YES! So long as you vote for him.

I am waiting to see this guy pop up.

Is he going to hand out a tax credit for everything?

Why not lower taxes across the board so we could earn more? Read: generate our own wealth and create a competive market for whatever it is that Americans need.

Hollywood’s best was definitely on board for this. I only wish they were as good at making movies and TV shows.

    Fact checkers dream.

OK, enough socialism. Enough big government. Enough Government is the answer for everything.

I’m going to give my dog a bath and then call volunteers so we can avoid 4 years of socialism.

      re: socialist…

McCain just tonight on Larry King said he doesn’t think Obama’s a socialist

also, how would McCain’s comments from 2000 not be considered “socialist” by his own definition?

“when you reach a certain level of comfort, there’s nothing wrong with paying “somewhat more” (can link the video if you’d like).

as for you volunteering, i’d suggest you call folks in PA & VA, because you’re wasting your time on MN & WI, Obama will win both by 6-8%

Fine, I encourage everyone against socialism to vote Andrew Allen Aplikowski for President.

Or maybe, Democrats and liberals can explain how is it that class warfare is only being brought up by one candidate this election.

Oh and is it now just $200,000 that makes you the punished and the Americans forced to pay for the rest of America?

Redistribution of wealth is socialism, no matter what party you call home. MccAin 08 is not MccAin 00.

    3. montanaliberal Says:

it’s still $250,000, the $200k quote in that recent ad is referring to a tax CUT. $200,001-250,000 your taxes just won’t increase, they’ll stay the same.

as for redistribution of wealth, well, we’ve had the same progressive taxes in place for over 100 years now, so i guess we’ve been “experimenting with socialism” somewhat for the last century.

also, Obama’s only proposing to re-instate the 39% top tax bracket that we had under Clinton (actually his was a bit more even).

the top tax brackets under 3 Republican Presidents? (91% under Eisenhower (which JFK removed within his first 100 days in office), under Reagan the top tax bracket was 50%, and 70% under Nixon.

as for McCain of ‘08 not being McCain of ‘00, you’re right… i respected and could have possibly even voted for the McCain of ‘00, but not now. and by those standards, if McCain’s statements from 8 years ago shouldn’t be relevant, why should Obama’s scholarly discussions (not as a Senator) on “redistributive change” from 2001 be relevant all of the sudden as well (considering this tape has been out there since the primaries).
