After the MRW event yesterday, we swung by and saw my grandma at her nursing home. After that we swung out to the Bachmann campaign office to grab some lawnsigns and fold and stuff some envelopes. We fought for some desk space since the office was packed with volunteers. 

Guess what, the DFL attack machine (that’s the local media) was there to make mountains out of mole hills. Why? Because that’s what the local media does to Congresswoman Bachmann. They don’t report, they take Democrat talking points and attack. 

I posted the clip from Hardball yesterday that the Democrats are as usual, over reacting to. I listened to it once and thought nothing of it. The cold hard fact is we really don’t know what Obama’s connections really are to these former allies.

How many of Rev. Wright’s anti-American screed-sermons sunk into Obama’s head and helped form his current anti-capitalist and class warfare policies over the 20 some years of mentorship? Rev. Wright was not exactly the poster boy for flag waving American patriot. Need I remind you since the media won’t?

How has the man (Ayers) who not only did what America’s worst enemies in history could only dream of doing, but who helped launch and form the political career of Barrack Obama, made Obama the man who could be President? 

KARE 11 did an interview with Bachmann’s campaign leader while we were at the office. This story is simply KARE 11 trying to keep a non-story alive to save Obama and defeat Bachmann. 

Yes, that’s what this is about. Not only has Joe the Plumber been given more scrutiny and been vetted more fully, but the local media hates Bachmann because she is a successful conservative woman. 

Here’s the response the Bachmann campaign has to the manufactured liberal, national special interest attack group’s ’scandal. 

There’s no question that Barack Obama holds very liberal views.  There’s no question that his wife said she felt proud for the first time as an American this year.  There’s no question that Barack Obama has many relationships – from Bill Ayers to Jeremiah Wright to Tony Rezko — with people who hold views far out of the mainstream. 

It’s perfectly legitimate for the American people to want to know how all this informs his policy positions and what direction an Obama Administration would want to lead the nation.  This is particularly true given that the Senate and House are likely to remain in Democrat hands, possibly with a margin wide enough in the Senate to prevent the traditional minority right to filibuster.

This has become the political spin version of the children’s game of Telephone.  Despite Chris Matthews’ best attempts to paint Congresswoman Bachmann into a corner, she never said that all liberals are anti-American and she never asked for some House Un-American Committee investigation of Members of Congress.  This is just liberal spin in overdrive.
 

Speaking of liberal spin in overdrive. The Tinklenberg campaign is claiming to have raised $450K from 9,000 donation that from across the country. 

Now, it is BS that what Bachmann said is a scandal. The media is doing what they always do. Go all out for the sake of Democrats. And if you haven’t noticed recently, the media is helping Obama measure for curtains in White House. They are refusing to be journalists and instead have become the new brown shirts. 

Yep, someone dares to question the saintlihood of ‘The One’, so they go on the attack against the questioner. Kill the messenger. 

Think Palin. Think Joe The Plumber. And now, once again, the local media is going after Bachmann. 

Me thinks thou dost protest too much. 

Democrats are scared. Tinklenberg’s campaign had a Do Not Resuscitate notice until the National Democrats decided to throw $400K to defeat Bachmann last week. And now it seems the national liberal wing of politics is trying to take another Chris Matthews interview turned media set up and dumping money into Minnesota’s 6th District to defeat a conservative woman member of Congress. 

I guess it would be nice to know just how much of this money the media is reporting coming in this weekend actually came from 6th District residents and constituents of Bachmann’s. It would be nice for them to talk to 6th District residents about what they thought of Bachmann. 

But you won’t see the media do that. Nope, you won’t see the media be the impartial journalists. Nope, they are simply the media attack dogs.
