Did You Ever Wish You Were Running For President? I Know I Do
I do. When running against an unapologetic socialist, you don’t need to pander by trying to match the spending. growing government even more and letting it dip its fingers in every aspect of our lives is a terrible mistake. Obama is going to impliment the socialist dream of government becoming the provider.
Of course in order for it to do that, it needs money. He will tax the living heck out of everything that moves. There isn’t enough wealth in “the upper class” to pay for everything he wants. People like him don’t understand high taxes eventually put an end to something. If you tax the rich out of spite and to pay for everything. You will tax people out of the upper class and reduce the money available to confiscate.
 McCain is the worst person we could have running against Obama. As you know I was and am still very upset at that. The reason why is that he has socialist tendencies. Nowhere near Obama, but he does believe government should step in to the free markets and the lives of Americans.Â
No matter who wins, it is going to be a bumpy ride for freedom and the pursuit of happiness. Both candidates are going to expand government in ways unwelcome by a truly freedom loving people.Â
After the next President gets a chance to implement their agenda, I think there may be support to fix our selection process. It is shameful the way that a minority of Americans get to pick who is President. The better candidates lost due to the undemocratic form of Primaries. Oh yeah, when a few dozen people in West Virginia can flip their votes to make sure a person doesn’t win because of his religion, it is an example of broken democracy.Â
Obama and his Congressional Democratic allies have left the political battlefield chalk full of targets of conservative opportunity. The problem is we don’t have a real conservative at the GOP helm to open fire. Instead he’s helping to fortify the idea that Government should be the great provider.Â
God save America from itself. The next President may do more damage to unravel the framework of our great nation than all of our enemies put together could.Â
Please wake up America. Nothing is free. The Government giving you what you want is only going to cost the entire nation more in the long run.Â
I pray my gloomy gus side is getting the best of me this morning, but I am terrified that we may go the way of the Roman empire. All good Democracies must come to an end.Â
Greed is going to kill the goose that laid the golden egg. And by greed I mean Americans becoming comfortable with thinking everyone else should pay for what the want.Â
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, doordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Posterity doesn’t have to do with that thing you sit on while bitching about how no one is giving you something for nothing. It is the future generations. Frankly I don’t want to have to explain to the next generation why America is no longer the home of the free. Why being successful is no longer allowed. And why Government gets to decide how much and of what you can have.Â
I pray our Constitution can survive the next administration. I pray if Obama wins, that the Supreme court justices live long. I pray that the next President doesn’t get to do everything they want. But most importantly I pray my fellow Americans understand that freedom is not doled out by the Government, but rather taken away by it.Â
Rationed liberty is no way to live. Our forefathers must be weeping for the great nation that they fought so hard to create. We’re heading towards the policies that we have spent our history fighting against.Â
Oh man am I getting depressed.
