What’s Good For The Goose….
Brian Davis must really have Democrats worried. Now I think the guy is perfect for Congress, and compared to Rep. Tim Walz (D MN1), well Walz is a rubberstamp for most of what Nanacy Pelosi wants. He has voted with his party 96.6% of the time. Not exactly the independent Blue Dog that he claims, plus he is dead wrong on some big issues, or voting in lockstep with Democratic leaders, when his District needs him to break rank.Â
How can I tell Democrats are scared that Walz is vulnerable? They are launching a hypocritical attack on Brian Davis, who has had some fines for some late property taxes.Â
According to Davis, it has all been taken care of, and he has paid the $2100 in penalties and fines. Here’s where DFLers lose sight of the big picture.Â
DFL Associate Chair Donna Cassutt called Davis’ behavior not mere forgetfulness but a pattern of irresponsibility that is indicative of the type of congressman he would make. “Many people are struggling to get by, but they’re playing by the rules,” she said. “Brian Davis is not playing by the rules. He’s been delinquent an exorbitant amount of time. I think he just believes that he’s above the rules.”
Let’s have some fun with this shall we? OK.Â
DFL Associate Chair Donna Cassutt called Davis‘ Frankens’ behavior not mere forgetfulness but a pattern of irresponsibility that is indicative of the type of congressman Senator he would make. “Many people are struggling to get by, but they’re playing by the rules,” she said. “Brian Davis Al Franken is not playing by the rules. He’s been delinquent an exorbitant amount of time. I think he just believes that he’s above the rules.”
Franken’s delinquent taxes were to the tune of $70,000. If the DFL is outraged over Davis, they should be even more upset with how Franken has handled his taxes.Â
I think we’re starting to see some real anti-Democrat sentiment starting to build. The kind of sentiment that hurts Democrats in a generic way. Democrats got lucky in the 1st, due to the anti-Republican sentiment in 06.Â
I think, if things continue the way they are going, Democrats don’t discover any Republicans with pages chained to a radiator, and Democrats continue to push their agenda which voters realize is hurting America, we could see a real swing in the House. Democrats, as Democrats do when you give them power, abuse it and forget about the constituents.
They push the agenda of the Washington Democratic elites, not that of just plain mainstreet Americans.Â
What am I basing it on that Republicans could come close or take the majority back? Democrats are on defense now.

I don’t know, according to Jason Lewis I guess conservatives should let Democrats win, because, in this example, Walz couldn’t be “that much different” from Davis. So why bother expending the energy to make a difference?
