DNR begins Paul Bunyan trail construction Monday
BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) – The state Department of Natural Resources says construction of the Bemidji to Guthrie segment of the Paul Bunyan State Trail starts Monday. Â
The trail will be paved for nearly 12 miles between the two communities, primarily along the old Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad grade. The anticipated completion date is Nov. 1.
A closer look at funding reveal our good old Porker and Congressman with 4 decades of experience at the art helped take biking to Canada possibility rather than waste of taxpayer money. Thanks Jim Oberstar for all the bike trails.Â
Canada you say? YES, thanks to Jimbo McPorkbarrel.Â
