The Glass Jaw Candidate Can’t Handle The Heat
For a guy who has been throwing mud for 2 years, it is pretty pathetic for him to try to hide from the scrutiny. Of course I’m talking about the One, Barry Obama and his low brow shot at Palin with the lipstick line yesterday.Â
Obama knocks press on ‘made-up controversy’
Â
Speaking at a high school in Norfolk, Obama took a few moments to address what he calls “the made-up controversy” of the day, Amie Parnes reports.
Obama said the McCain campaign moved to “seize an innocent remark and take it out of context because they knew it’s catnip for the news media.”
“See, it would be funny, but the news media decided that would be the lead story yesterday. This happens every election cycle. Every four years, this is what we do. This is what they want to spend two of the last 55 days talking about…Enough!” he said.
Obama called the attacks “lies, outrage and swift boat politics.”
“These are serious times and they call for a serious debate…spare me all the phony outrage. Spare me all the phony talk about change.”
Clearly Barry Obama is not at all referring to his own phoniness in that last line. The fact he was running on platitudes and lofty rhetoric. He played up people’s fears and capitalized on Hollywood’s full blown theatrical assistance. He has ducked serious debates for controlled teleprompters.
Oh and let’s not for get how he was running to change the status quo and partisan politics in Washington…. that was before he picked one of Washington’s longest serving Senators who just so happens to have made a career out of bitter, nasty, partisan rankoring of any conservative. Biden, work across the isle? Only if that’s where the conservative nominee he was trying to character assassinate was standing.Â
But then again, the media spent the last year anointing this guy. It is no surprise he is a little pissed off they won’t just continue to publish his attacks and snide remarks.Â
The made up candidate is fed up with the pressure of having to explain what he said. Obama not ready for Prime Time, you ask?
Not ready for public access cable, if you ask me.
