Heck of a Job FRED!!!, Sorry I was Forced To Miss It

So I have been trying to scan the Intertubes for the latest RNC news and get my final postings up tonight. Dismayed at not getting to see Fred Thompson this morning at a bloggers brunch, and pissed I got laughed at for trying to get in to the RNC to blog for Bachmann and his speech….
I just finally sat down on the couch at my girlfriend’s house at 11:30PM, convinced her to turn off a guilty pleasure of hers (Sex In The City) and flip to CSPAN… and guess what I saw.
Fred Thompson give a great speech at the RNC. A speech I wish I would have been able to see. A speech I would have loved to blog about. I was with him from the beginning, and by God, I still love this guy. I still have his bumper sticker on my truck. I’m all for unity and on election day, I will be voting the party ticket.
This just goes to show you that they don’t give a crap about RF, AAA, or anything I have to say. Sorry I missed ya Fred! God bless you! It is too bad my past of standing on principles, demanding accountability, and doing what I feel is best for this party and country kept me from being in that room with you tonight. You were great, and I am sorry I had to miss it.
