McCain - Pawlenty - And Cabinet
Posted by Andy on August 18th, 2008
I have been saying for what seems like almost two years now, that Tim Pawlenty is going to be McCain’s pick for Vice President. If you look at what all the “prospective” candidates Pawlenty is allegedly competing against, Pawlenty is one of the few who is spending a majority of their time traversing the Country on McCain’s behalf.
The others tend to be focusing on regions or their home states. Pawlenty is the one who is, from my novice and limited observation in my free time, actually campaigning nationally for McCain on a nearly full time basis. He’s held more fundraisers around the country then he has here in Minnesota (again, as it appears to my limited glimpse at coverage). He’s raised millions for state parties and candidates all over the place.
I’m sorry, I love to say I told you so, so I told you so. It will be McPlenty on the ticket.
I think the others in the spotlight are not auditioning for VP, but rather cabinet positions. Remember, because of the media and left’s insistence that George Bush be removed from History, McCain is going to have to replace everyone when (if - for the Obamaniacs) he takes over the administration.
