Dirty Tricks In 51A ????? – Update

I’m looking into some possible political hyjinx that could be taking place in HD51A. I’ll have more on it later when I am done with work. 

Update: Take a look at the filings for 51A. Notice anything? Yeah, 2 Sanders.  

Tim Sanders is the endorsed Republican who has been running a very strong campaign for this open seat. 

Shawn Hamilton is the Big Labor DFL candidate. 

Dan Sanders is the Big Labor “independent” candidate who has come out of no where. (Very weak website. Obviously thrown together in a very short time, but Big Labor special interest references are not in short supply. 

Something smells a bit fishy to me. Either there is a battle for Union domination, or someone is trying to throw a certain Sanders off track. I think someone is a little worried that one term wonder Scott Kranz has forced the DFL and its special interests to spend money defending one of their open seats. 

Tim Sanders should consider this an honor. The DFL and Big Labor special Interests are scared Republicans will win this seat back. So scared, they seem to have had to dig up someone to try to steal votes away from Sanders. 

Which one? That’s exactly the point. Sanders vs. Sanders vs. Hamilton. They may be betting on people being unsure on who to vote for, so they will just pull the lever for Hamilton. If so, yes, that is a dirty trick.

    ah, well, if people can’t tell the difference between “Dan” and “Tim”, he deserves to lose.

    sorry. At least your district has someone you think has a chance of winning. Conservatives don’t want my district to be allowed to endorse someone who can win. That they’d told me over and over again. So, I get to look forward to another 2 years of DFL representation. But hey, at least it is better then being able to be represented by a “RINO,” right?

    There are no dirty tricks with Daniel Sanders, he has been a resident in Blaine for many years, and is running a clean campaign. Clean Campaigns are in, you should try it.

    Are you going to elect the candidate who has the best website, or the one who will do the most for the people of Blaine. If it’s for the people then Elect Daniel Sanders the Independent. If it’s for whomever can put up the best web site, then elect Tim Sanders the Republican.
