Words To Live By
"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

Why The Democrats Dusted Of The 2006 Gameplan

Have you noticed how the Democrats seem to be rerunning their 2006 campaign? Just look at Al Franken. He’s all about Iraq now. MoveOn and AFSCHME are all about Iraq.

Why?

I thought voters wanted “Change”…..

Their messiah and all their candidates began 2008 with the same slogan of change. Change this, change that, you don’t need me to go in to detail, but you all remember that up until a few weeks ago, they didn’t really want to talk about Iraq, or national security at all. They were going to fix each and every aspect of our lives. Free this, provide that, access to that.

Now, all of a sudden, the Democrats have resorted back to their 2006 standard of Change the course in Iraq. Now Iraq is going pretty well right now thanks to the Change Republicans implemented. They were the ones who defended Patreaus and the Surge. That is working, meaning the Democrats were wrong.

So why are Democrats dropping all talk of the economy and focussing on Iraq?

Oh yeah, Democrats have been in charge of Congress, that is capable of changing it, for a year and a half now. They have only made things worse. Prices are going through the roof. Our economy is teetering on a recession.

No wonder Democrats are going back to Defeatocrat playbook.

They are terrible at being in charge of this country. They know voters know that socialism and higher taxes are the worst thing for America right now. They are trying to distract voters away from their terrible domestic policies.
