Words To Live By
"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

Cap And Trade = Economic Suicide, Lunacracy At Work In Minnesota

Mark my words, if Minnesota is stupid enough to implement a cap and trade system on emmissions it will put an end to our economy. Every single business that can leave the state WILL. The only ones left will be companies who don’t create emmissions, and they will simply be raking in the dough from companies who do that are FORCED to buy ‘credits’.

This cap and trade system that moronic Republicans also support is economic suicide. The Minnesota House passed a preliminary bill that opens the door to cap and trade.

Honest to God, if we do not get a handle on this anti-freedom, liberty, and economic activity environutter crap, we will destroy our country faster than 1,000 airliners piloted by terrorists. Seriously, just what the heck are politicians who support taking away your job thinking? Oh, you think I am making it up? Check again, they do want to do away with certain jobs in this state.

“Cap-and-trade will change the jobs that we have in Minnesota – I think it will change the jobs for the better,” said Knuth, DFL-New Brighton. “It will bring clean energy jobs.”

Remember that if you get that pink slip, lay off notice while your company goes under or moves out of the state/country. They just passed a bill that will cause you to lose your job.

We have to get a handle on these lunacrats before they destroy our country and state. And that includes Pawlenty who is mentioned in the story as working with neighboring states and Canadian provinces on a regional cap and trade system.

Notice to all business owners out there: DO NOT COME TO MINNESOTA!!!!!!!!

One Response to “Cap And Trade = Economic Suicide, Lunacracy At Work In Minnesota”

  1. J. Ewing says:

Cap and trade systems are stupid. The most they can accomplish is to increase the price of energy. It simply has to happen. Say I operate a coal-powered generator. If they cap my emissions at what I have now, they don’t do a darn thing for global warming (not that CO2 has anything to do with it anyway). So they will cap it at something lower than what I emit now. OK, I can sell less electricity, which will drive up the price, or I can buy “credits” from somebody who is going to continue doing what they were doing anyway, so not helping the CO2 problem, while driving up my price. Not only that, I’m emitting as much CO2 as ever. Legislators keep talking about this like it was a solution, yet all I see is a stupid, stupid plan to accomplish nothing and cost me more!
