Reality Check - Global Warming Takes Big Hit

Paul Douglas has been fired from WCCO. The station is in mid purge of anchors and employees and the Global Warming champion must have put them over the carbon cap.
Paul Douglas, WCCO’s longtime weatherman, was released today from the station as part of a nationwide CBS purge, a wide-ranging and dramatic response to dwindling ad revenue and viewership.
Douglas, who also serves as a Star Tribune columnist, joins at least five WCCO employees, including weekend anchor John Reger, who were told their services were no longer needed as the CBS corporation reacts to a sluggish economy and stiff competition from the Internet.
“Times are tough, many people are losing their jobs and I am not exempt from this troubling trend,” Douglas said in a letter he e-mailed today to close friends. “I was the target at a time when there are systemic, long-term challenges.”
What?!!!!! You mean daily fearmongering and fact fabricating trying to pry liberty and freedom from Americans all in the name of neo-socialist global warming junk science hasn’t been raking in the profits? I can’t believe that all the liberal Al-Gore-is-a-god lunacrats haven’t been buying ad time and helping the station.
All kidding aside, we all know that bleeding heart liberalism doesn’t sell, and WCCO is pretty much worst of the worst when it comes to biased news media outlets.

In all seriousness, I have come to “enjoy” WCCO (The Evil Neighbor)now that they have come to recognize their true niche. When you listen to thier sports announcers hyping upcoming broadcasts, they refer to CCO as “Air America”.
While I had thought that domaine name was registered to AM950 … I’ve accepted that the views expoused on the talk segments (with the exclusion of some early morning personalities) could just as easily be heard on the far left.
