Nobody broke any chains and took control, as there were no "chains" to be broken. A nominating committee exists for a reason. Take Rudy for example... the guy is a self described libertarian who ripped Senator McCain in his literature. Not that we don't have a place for folks like him in the party, but this is hardly the kind of person we want to send to the national convention. I also noticed Rudy failed to mention who he lost to on the final ballot, that being Jennifer Wilson. This defeat must have been particularly stinging as he goes after Jennifer's daughter in his press release. We had 75 candidates apply, 7 of which chose to withdraw. 3 delegates and 3 alternates were elected out of the group. Clean, fair, done. It didn’t have to be that way.
