Welcome to Unaccountability - The End Of Liberty

The 7 County metro is now going to flex its unaccountability muscle.
At a meeting in St. Paul on Wednesday, commissioners from all seven metro counties made it crystal clear that they don’t intend to share much of their new authority with the administration of a governor who attempted to keep them from getting it.
Life in the Twin Cities is abot to get much more expensive, and all thanks to 6 Republicans Representatives. They say they voted their conscious, but the truth is they voted to remove accountability to both the State and County Commissioners.
Minnesota is now headed down the rail line that has only a few stops. High taxes, boondoggle social engineering projects, and unaccountable government officials.
Unfortunately the citizens of the state are strapped to the tracks and having their hard earned money severed from them.
Big thanks from the liberal tax and spenders as well as unaccountable county commissioners must go out to Tinglestad and Abler. With out them and their ‘conscious, the Republican brotherhood would have been able to protect Minnesotans from unaccountable officials and bureaucrats who do not have the publics’ best interests in mind.
Liberty has now runs its course.

No, sorry, it’s thanks to the Minnesotan’s who voted for a near veto-proof DFL majority. You can’t blame 6 Republicans for the choices that Minnesota voters made. If Minnesota wanted lower taxes they could have reelected Krinkie and the others who would have kept the DFL from within that veto-proof margin, even if 6 districts do supported transit-friendly GOP representatives.

If the purists had not stayed home in 2006 we would not have 85 Dems in the House and therefore would not be talking about “the 6″….
Having said that, did you happen to notice that the “power” in this goes to Hennepin and Ramsey Counties? Any county board that signs on to this crap deserves everything that they get…

LL, you mean everything the DON’T get, don’t you?
I’ve called mine but was ignored. Makes you think that Republicans ought to be fired up about local races, doesn’t it? Four of our seven are running in November. I wonder if they have opponents?

Absolutly - Conservatives had best get all fired up about the local races! They are more important than most voters realize.
