I am responding late, so my guess is this will never be read. Regardless, Too say that "there is no choice" is like saying that if Abler or any of the other five turncoats end up losing their endorsement but win their primaries, I have no other choice but to support them.

Sorry but I am sick of supporting politicians I have to later defend. Coleman, Pawlenty, even Bush have disappointed me so many times I seem to end up being an enabler.

LL, I have been reading your commentary for months. I have huge respect for you, your love of liberty and freedom is obvious. I have that same love. Believe me when I say I am very torn. I am weighing the consequence of a vote to enable or to protest.

Considering McCain will never win in this loony state, a protest write-in vote is very tempting. One thing that is certain is my lack of enthusiasm which translates to no money or volunteerism. Looking at Feb's contribution numbers, proves that feeling is wide spread.

I take no glee in any of this, the fact is that this whole episode is a complete debacle and my only hope is we have a country left after it's all sorted out.

Titan - I understand your frustration, however when faced with a choice between Socialists Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama and John McCain....there is no choice if you are a conservative.

Andy, I love how you fight for your principles first. I also greatly appreciate you now stating that this is heading for a binary choice & that the only real option is voting for & supporting John McCain, who has shown his resolve in killing the jihadists. There isn't a snowball's prayer in hell that I'd vote for anyone that isn't serious about that matter.

Andy, your a better man then I. I just can't, as of yet get myself to vote for this guy. Personally, as much as I hate to say it, I think a devistating 4 year recession is what may be needed to wipe out a majority of these nanny staters for another 20 years.

Mac's policies might give us that same recession, yet place the blame on conservatism.
