Reaching An Understanding...

In the two weeks since the Transportation over-ride vote, much has been said for and against "The Six". If the "Dear Colleague" letter that Rep. Abeler has sent to his caucus is any indication, there are a few hurt feelings as well.

I love how he brags that he could not get 60% for endorsement and he calls it a "victory".

EnAbler needs to understand that some things are mortal sins. And he's committed one. If he really wants to make it up to people, he could publicly repudiate his vote, apologize to the citizens of his district and take the lead on stopping the bonding bill. And then work to elect a GOP majority in the fall. And then sponsor the first bill that overturns the tax increases he forced down our throats.

He will, of course, do none of the above, because it's so much easier to play martyr. Not to put too fine a point on it, but he can Spitzer himself.
