Excuse Me, Didn’t You Just Raise My Taxes?

District 11 is already whining about “funding”.
Forecasting the financial health of District 11 and presenting a preliminary budget during the Anoka-Hennepin School Board meeting Monday night, best- and worst-case scenarios were described.
This is the same school district that raised the local tax levies just last November.

ISD 11 passed 2 of its 4 referendums, meaning they didn’t get everything they wanted. So, the unions pulled a “Ciresi” and said “we’ll take our share now.”
