There Can Be No Rest Until The All Votes Are Cast
Do not stop calling Legislators on the Transit Tax Bill. The Liberal special interests are calling the Republicans and Democrats who opposed the bill and are trying to get them to flake on the Override. We knew the bill would pass. We knew it would be vetoed. We know it is going to come back next week before the budget forecast… er deficit forecast for a veto override.
That is the vote that will stop the massive tax and government and unaccountability expansion in this bill.
We need to hammer our (R)s who voted for this bill and hold them accountable at endorsing conventions, but we also need to hold on to the rest of them that opposed it yesterday for the override. We still need their votes! There are hundreds of thousands of dollars being used to hammer the 44 brave souls who did the right thing.
Please take a minute and send them a thank you and supportive email for voting against the massive transit tax bill.
I’ll throw a post together in a bit that has emails and phone numbers for the ones we need to thank. In the mean time you can call Abler and Tinglestad and tell them to fly a kite if they vote to override.
