Is America Really The Land of The Free Anymore?

There’s a new RF poll in the right sidebar.

Is America free anymore, or have we ceeded the fight to the socialist nanny-slators who think they can run our lives and ration freedom and liberty as they see fit?

Please take a moment and vote. I think the answers are self explanatory.

This line from the Declaration of Independence is really stuck in my mind lately.

 But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. 

It may be time for citizens to send a copy of the Declaration o our own Government, just as a refresher of what we revolted against.

If my Government cannot trust me with my God given rights and freedoms, maybe my Government is not worth having.

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their CREATOR, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Give me liberty or give me death. Man is not intended to live under the iron or green fist, of other men.
