How About We Just Ban Stupidity And Get It Over With?

The wanna-be Nanny in Chief of Congress has once again tried to save us from ourselves.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Senate on Thursday approved and sent to President George W. Bush legislation aimed at reducing “backover” auto accidents that are particularly dangerous for children.

How about we start to publicly flog people too damn busy talking on their cell phone to turn their head around who’ve backed over a kid or into another car, in the public square?

Or maybe every shopping mall can have a wall of shame at every doorway for the idiots who didn’t look before they backed up where their pictures can be shamefully displayed to mall goers.

I’m sorry, I know this is going to seem insensitive, but folks,

we’re surrounded by idiots,

and it is high time we stop governing America by the lowest common denominator.
