Why go to the mat now when they can win all the marbles in 2008? If they go for total revolution now, they risk losing "moderates" and independents. If they do impeachment on purely political grounds they will lose the majority of people who find that kind of thing boring and/or a scandalous waste of time and resources for anything short of major criminal activity.
