A Powerline post about Fred Thompson undressing of Mike Huckabee’s record in the debate last night got me to thinking about what a great follow up question would have been.
If we aren’t supposed to look at the facts of your record as Arkansas Governor, and simply supposed to take the fact that “you governed” for substance, can you tell us how a Huckabee administration will govern following the Bush administration that has low approval ratings? Clearly this sounds like you would have a lot of work to do to rebuild the image of the Oval Office, much like you said you did when you took over for the outsted Governor who preceded you in Little Rock.
Please tell us how and what you would change about the Bush administration’s Executive Branch if you were the 44th President.
