The John Hines Experiment - Results Are in - He’s Out???
Posted by Andy on November 12th, 2007
Maybe I missed the announcement last week, but it sure what it sounds and looks like he’s out as KTLK morning host.
Dave Ramsey
4am-5am: Bloomberg The First Word
5am-9am: The Morning Show
9am-11am: Dan Conry Show
11am-2pm: Rush Limbaugh
2pm-4pm: Sean Hannity
4pm-7pm: The Jason Lewis Show
7pm-9pm: Mark Levin
9pm-10pm Sean Hannity
10pm - 1am Glenn Beck
Langdon Perry (sp) has been on air the last few days in that slot with no mention of Hines, and it is no longer called The Morning Show with John Hines.
Well, Hines seemed like a real nice guy, but with the format KTLK uses, it wasn’t his cup of tea. He wasn’t able to get into a rhythm what with all the 5-10 minutes segments and weather, news, and traffic breaks. The ums and ahs as he scrambled to see where producers wanted him to go next were tough to listen to.
But it was the best thing we had going in the Twin Cities. Bill Bennet puts me to sleep. Willy and Jay? No thanks. And the morning TV news locally are simply DFl propaganda arms now. Let’s just hope KTLK doesn’t go lefty with the show.

I really liked John Hines…
Langdon Perry certainly can’t carry a show by himself…

I noticed this last week, too, posted here, and found a couple other sites noticed it earlier still.
Almost anyone can carry this typical “lather rinse repeat” format. That’s what needs changing.
FYI, I’m with Tracy, too.

I missed it too. I’m not sorry to see him go. I just didn’t like his show at all. I would listen to music until Laura Ingraham show came on…
