I Played Zookeeper At Work Today

Another grueling day at work for me flushing storm sewers. I am plum pooped tonight and am retiring for the evening here in some much deserved food, and a hot shower. I know, I should be at the Townhall in Coon Rapids, but I would be snoring in the crowd if I did. I have been going non-stop since 7 AM.
Speaking of raccoons, I thought I’d let you know I played zookeeper at work today. I guess we have a raccoon that spends some time in one of our storm sewer runs, and he likes to poop in one particular storm structure. Well, I have had to crawl into each storm drain structure to chip out the concrete slag from the construction this year, and found his bathroom.
I took a stick and a bucket, and scooped up the poop, just like I see the zookeeper types do on Dirty Jobs. Then I blasted the place clean with the firehose. Speaking of dirty jobs, it has been one of them kinda weeks for me, and tomorrow is more of the same.
