if the victor ran as a Republican, but then legislates like a Democrat, you don’t care.

If the victor ran as a Republican and legislates as a Democrat it is a net gain. You haven't lost anything and you gained another seat in the legislature. I'd take that any election night.

Once again you prove my point, for some it is all about the win on election night, and nothing else matters. if the victor ran as a Republican, but then legislates like a Democrat, you don't care. That's the problem with this party right now. No one is focused on the issues.

I am sorry for you. As for my opinions, oh I will continue to have them. And I'll continue to share them, like it or not.

It's only a waste if the voters of Senate District 13 feel it is. Since a majority of voters picked Gimse over Johnson I guess they don't feel it was a waste.

As far as the Republicans in SD13, I'm sure that they had the opportunity to consider all the candidates and endorse the one they felt would represent them best. I'll bet your legitimate input into the decision at that time was "zero" and now is "zero." That's just something that belongs to the people in the district who chose to get involved in the political process, and not some self-righteous dude who thinks that he can have some say who the rest of the state chooses as their candidates.

So my input now would be to butt out, and pay more attention to your Senator then who the rest of the state picks to represent their district in the State Senate.

Thanks,
