I have been trying to understand why our representatives, particularly RINOs, can seemingly understand "conservative principles" enough to talk about them, and then vote, seemingly, completely contrary to them.  What you are suggesting is that our representatives need to spend more time in their districts so that they not only can talk the conservative talk, but listen to their constitutents "translate" those principles into how they should vote.  Just because you can get elected, apparently, does not mean you have the smarts to reason your way from basic principles to a rational vote.   Whereas there are many among the activist base who have that ability.  Dear Senator:  we need to talk.</description>
