If any Republican from Minnesota votes with the Democrats to override the President’s veto of the socialist-lite SCHIPs expansion, they will have no other option to be called what they are, Democrat enablers, and RINOs.

The Democrats are racing around fast and furious with fundraising emails and radio ads. And what are the Republicans doing? No seriously, what are they doing? I can’t see anything that they are doing trying to rile up their own base.

Instead, you have a select handful of Republicans, pissing off the entire conservative wing of the GOP by siding with the Democrats on Government intrusion into our lives, and worse, threatening to override the President’s veto.

Shame on any Republican that votes with the Democrats on SCHIPs. A vote with Pelosi, Reid, and Clinton will likely lose my vote for good.

Yes, principles matter, so does holding Republicans accountable.

We got into this minority mess by not holding them accountable over the last few years. Time after time we forgave them for abandoning us and our agenda. And just look what happened to the House that Newt built. The Republicans acted like Democrats, and got thrown out. Obviously, having learned nothing from 2006, they appear destined to repeat their mistakes all over again.

Well if the current crop of Republicans are so hell bent on passing the Democratic agenda rather than the Republican one, they obviously don’t want this Republican’s vote.

If the Republicans in Congress keep this up, you may as well not worry about winning the White House in 08. It won’t matter because Pelosi and Reid will have veto proof majorities. Why in the world would Minnesotans vote for a RINO, if they really want liberal socialist policies, and cradle to grave health care?

More importantly, why would I vote for a RINO when I believe in personal responsibility and limited Government? Because the Democrat will win you say. Well, if their ideas do win either way, what does my vote matter either way?
