My family got some bad news over the weekend, so this is going to be a random thoughts post to get the week going.
First, hats of to the MNGOP. I did not make it to the Issues Conference, but all reports are that it was very well done and useful. The only complaint I heard of was no one video taped it or took notes. (I got that from multiple people)
Also, great job on the Lincoln Reagan Dinner. I was, ‘fashionably late’, as there are 4 1st & 3rds in Minneapolis. Well, 4th time is a charm, and we did finally make it thanks to a random urbanite who wondered why we were wandering around. Staff was incredibly professional, and everyone I talked to was having a good time.
We’ve had a death in our family this weekend, so please forgive me if I end up being absentee for a day or 3.
Is Obama going to get away with his God comments? When non-liberals say they are doing God’s will, they get lambasted by liberals and Democrats. Will Obama face the same scrutiny? Now let’s also not ignore the fact that he was politicking in a Church at the time, also something lefty nutters has become unhinged over in the past.
Rufus is doing well. He hates the collar, but is enjoying the alone time with me. Lugnut is being cared for by my girlfriend until Rufus is all healed up.
And finally, thankfully the Romney train seems to be derailing. He’s a big government Republican folks. We can’t afford another one.

Sorry to hear of your loss.
While I do not always agree with your reaction to politics, I do respect you as a person.
