Posted by Andy on October 8th, 2007

Just a quick thank you to everyone out there who has commented, emailed, or called to give your kind words, thoughts, and prayers to my family. I especially have to thank some of you who I have butted heads with over the last few years and months for going out of your way to put differences aside today.

Thank you all, and God bless you and yours in return.

(Just to clear up some possible confusion, my Grandma is doing just fine.)

Anyways, if I don’t get back to you, please don’t take it personally, the INBOX is full, and the OUTBOX isn’t emptying for some tech reason. So thanks!

I just got done straightening up the garage so I can bring the boat home this weekend, and well, it was something to keep me busy, and am just sitting down for a potpie now. Mmmmmm, ahhhh, the life of a bachelor.

    (ducking)

Big props must go also out to a certain someone for putting up with Luggers tonight. I hear he has been quite the handful. And well, I take him at the end of a driveway howling as a sign he missed me. The girlfriend offered to watch him while Rufus was on the mend. She may have gotten more than she bargained for.

    (closed circuit to GF: LASERS!!!!!!!!!!!)

Why does he howl like that?
And why does he HAVE to watch that one commercial without consideration for who is in his way and the embarrassment she might experience when she ends up on her bottom laying halfway out the front door?
And why does he have to sleep perpendicular to me in bed?
And why does he poop in my dining room?
And why does he hate my cat?
And why is he so cute that I can’t stay mad at him for any of the above?

His howl does sound like a firetruck doesn’t it?

And that is why the name Lugnut fits him.

It’s that face…..that wrinkly smooshed in face. You simply can not look at that without melting! I had a pug and it was the same thing (excepting for the pooping part….mine peed everywhere indoors!)
