MOB Tastic

Well last night’s MOB party was a real blast. I got to see a lot of old faces, and some new ones too. And unfortunately, one that I didn’t want to. But regardless fun was had by about everyone there.

Thanks to the big dog NARNers for doing what they did to pull it off. Thanks, to the Fraters and Nihlist crew for not showing up to complain about this and that, as is customary when thoust dost grace Keegans with your presence.

Anyways, no business, all laughs was the goal for last night, and it seemed to have worked for me.

I do think we need to come up with a top 11 list for why the Fraters and Nihlist crews were absent.
I’ll start it off.

#11 - Spilled red wine on their new matching sundresses they had just gotten for the big night, and were so devastated, they stayed home to watch TiVo of Desperate Housewives.
#10 – Were denied in their application to sit with the esteemed James Lileks in advance, and were so worried about rubbing elbows with the unwashed, that they stayed home to watch TiVos of American Idol.

    #9 – “Hawaiian Shirts ‘R’ Us” was closed, so they had nothing to wear.

    #8 – Had a previous engagement: tickets to “Wellstone!, the Musical.”

    #7 – Didn’t want to risk the humiliation in case a spontaneous trivia contest broke out.
