    The FM RF Has Been Preeminently Cancelled

    I just got a call from Sue Jeffers. Seems that I will not be appearing on the radio tomorrow morning.

    I guess today’s show didn’t go all that well, and Dan’s show will be all Sue all the time if he is not there.

    It’s a big let down for me, but hey, I’m a rank amateur at the radio thing and work at the invite of people. When the invite is revoked, well …. you go to work at your real (paying) day job.

    We’ll see if I can win over the hearts and minds of certain folks who think I am just another hack pontificating with a mic.

    In the mean time, I will scrub the show prep I was doing and get back to my previous plans for the evening. Building an outhouse for the cabin. The old one needs serious TLC, and I had planned on gathering the supplies, assembling, and painting the repaired version of itself to install this week(end?).

    Sorry to get some of your Residual Radio hopes up. I thought it was a sure thing, and was hoping it was so.

    I will have to just start the long promised, and infrequently done RF podcasts in order to get these chilling vocal tones out to the steaming masses. But that will mean a new iPod as the old one went capute on me.

    There is no spelling in radio. I think that is why I long to do it so.

    Bridges burned often come back to bite you in the arse. Oh well, I have no regrets. Some day soon I will get there (behind the mic) again some day. Until then I will just keep on being me. Sooner or later someone will realize that someone has to be the crossover.

      Keep the spirits up, Andy - and you can always do podcasts. I remember hearing you on NARN a while back - you’ve got a good presentation and voice.
