Residual Forces

If the attacks in Great Britain are not enough to wake the US up to the fact that we are engaged in a global war against animals who want to destroy Western civilization, maybe this will help.

If the plot turns out to be the work of a small, unknown cell, that could raise alarms that Britain’s terrorism threat is broader than the 2,000 suspected radicals known to the authorities. The Western official said British investigators were pursuing several “good leads.”

Why?

Because the left and pacifist crowds will try to spin this attack as misfits gone mad. Others will try to appease their demands, which just happen to match those of the Democratic Party in Congress, an end to the war.

I for one am glad that the stated agenda of the political party I stand with is not on a parallel track with America’s sworn enemy. But I would also like to point out that a growing number of Republicans in Congress are having their spines removed for political purposes.

Look folks, we can’t run away from this enemy. We can’t appease them. They attacked us first. They have broken treaties and resolutions one after the other. They murder the innocent, and have world domination as a goal.

There is no room for these animals in a free world.

I for one refuse to accept that we will just have to deal with this problem. I don’t want to leave a world in which the next generations will have to deal with nightclub bombings and car bombs. That lifestyle has become happen-stance in the Middle-East, and even some Western nations, but that is there. This is America for pete’s sake.

It is time for Americans to wake up to the cold hard fact that this war is not political. This isn’t Democrats vs. Republicans. This is us against them. PERIOD! If we continue down this road to division, we will fall divided, or at least our way of life will.

This is a war we cannot lose. not just in Iraq and Afghanistan, but globally. If the pacifists get their way and we do retreat from the battlefront, it won’t be the end of the war. There will be nothing to stop the terrorists from finding another place to fight us. If we bring all our troops home, well, they’ll follow. That is what they have been doing. We cannot run from an enemy that knows no borders.

Don’t forget, they attacked us from our own soil once before. They will, and can do it again.

Do you want to live in an America where you send your kids off to school, not knowing if you’ll see that same school in flames on your favorite cable news channel?  — I don’t.

The time to defeat this enemy is now, not after they strike our homeland …. again.
